Clare Mahoney - Decorative Porcelain
Demonstrating porcelain hand building, with inlay decoration and moulds made from found objects. Clare will be bringing some moulds and making textured inlay pebbles, probably on a small scale. Watch her apply her techniques, and you can ask questions and learn about her making process!

Making Wild Wire Birds!
Celia will demonstrate how she makes her wire birds. She will bring along a selection of sketchbooks showing how bird sketches inspire and inform the wire sculptures. You can also see the wide variety of wires used.

Saturday 29th October - Jamie Inglis: Bronze Age Craft Demo
Jamie will be making a replica of the unique cylindrical tin bead that is likely to have formed the centrepiece of a Bronze Age necklace found found at the Whitehorse Hill archaeological site on Dartmoor in 2011. As far as is possible, he will be using tools and techniques available to the craftsmen of the period. The bead is a rare surviving example of the working of tin in prehistoric Britain and Jamie will bring additional information about the dig to his demonstration.
