Members Showcase: Jude Freeman-Printmaking - Sat 01 Oct 2016 -Mon 31 Oct 2016
Members Showcase room, craft shop. Open daily 10am-5.30pm. Free entry.
Jude produces etchings, monoprints and books about plants and natural forms. Her current etchings offer an artist’s response to the shifting atmosphere of a garden through the seasons. She lives and works in the Teign Valley on the edge of Dartmoor in the UK.
Through cultivation, close observation and drawing the ever-changing moods of a garden reveal themselves and begin to be understood.
During the summer, from July to October 2016, Jude is having a show: ‘Efflorescence’ of etchings and drawings, in Exeter at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum and
Art Gallery café space (July 5 – October 1). This forms part of the Naturally Inspired season of exhibitions at RAMM.
