How can your donations help?
*Our craft education charity: Freehand
Freehand is the educational charity we run which helps us to place artists in schools. The makers will usually run one, or a series of workshops where children learn about a particular craft and more generally, the process of designing and making. Workshops encourage imagination and ideas in eveyone and can help people experience the life-changing power of creating through making. Your support helps us continue providing these enriching learning experiences for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.
Our building: Raise the Roof
The Guild urgently needs funds to repair the old roof of Riverside Mill as further deterioration will damage our public facilities and threaten access to the craft centre and gallery. We are running regular charity events to aid the appeal. Becoming a Friend of the Guild is a way of contributing to our charitable aims. Read more about our Friendship scheme here
