Guest Maker: Flora Pearson

Retail Gallery February 2024

Flo Pearson is a maker interested in the connections and attachments we make with everyday functional objects.

Based in Devon and with a training in both stained glass and leatherwork, she has worked as exhibitions manager at MAKE Southwest for many years, but always maintains an interest and practice in making, whether printmaking, glass, or textiles.

Working with many artists and makers, from emerging to high profile, she feels it is important to understand and appreciate the unique challenges a creative career brings, and hopes to produce work which brings function, pleasure, and practicality to the user.
