Cancellation policy

MAKE Southwest (formerly Devon Guild of Craftsmen) Cancellation Policy 2022

Paid For Workshops or Events

Cancellation by you

Payments for workshops are only refundable if you give advance notice of 10 full days before the workshop start date. Please note though, that Eventbrite platform’s booking fees are non-refundable.

We do appreciate that sometimes-unforeseen circumstances may occur within 10 full days of a workshop taking place, in this instance we are happy for you to send along a friend to take your place, but we regret that we cannot offer you a refund.

If an attendee is unable to attend a class due to illness, then MAKE Southwest must be informed immediately. Non-attendance of a workshop due to illness does not automatically mean a refund, however we will consider the circumstances with fair and reasonable consideration.

We regret that we have to be so strict with our refund policy, but we run small classes (anywhere from 2 – 8 people) and any cancellations at this size can mean that the entire workshop will need to be cancelled.

Cancellation by us

In the event of us needing to cancel a workshop we will give as much notice as possible and will offer you a full refund. In this instance we will absorb the Eventbrite platform’s booking fees.

MAKE Southwest will refund the participant(s) within 5 working days of the workshop cancellation date.

Free Workshops or Events

We ask that you inform us as soon as possible if you are not able to attend a free event or workshop, so that we are able to offer your space to another person.
