In March 2022, we launched Craft Club; a FREE, exciting 12-week programme of practical workshops for young makers.

Each week we invited a professional maker to join us, on a Saturday morning, to teach a technique from their creative specialism. A broad range of craft disciplines were represented in order to give the students an opportunity to turn their hand to as many new skills as possible.

All students of Craft Club are encouraged to take part in the Bronze Arts Award qualification which is run in collaboration with Trinity College London. The Bronze Arts Award requires participants to make a written and visual portfolio documenting their learning throughout the course and requires 20 hours of additional independent study.

We are eager to support young makers on their journey towards further or higher educational study within the creative arts and Craft Club provides a fun and informal setting to learn new skills and experiences.

Online Exhibition

We’ve collated some of the amazing pieces that the talented class of Craft Club 2022 created in this online exhibition.

2022’s Craft Club pilot was a great success, which means we will be bringing it back at the beginning of 2023 and it will become an annual, free workshop programme for young people!
