Gillie Hoyte Byrom studied enamel painting in miniature at the Llotja School in Barcelona and has played a major role in reviving this rare medium.
She has written the first book to detail traditional methods together with her own innovative techniques.
She is renowned for her enamel portrait miniatures, commissioned by private clients and most of London’s top jewellers.
Her miniatures have won many national and international prizes, notably The Jacques Cartier Memorial Award in 2007 and The Order of Zuev in Russia, 2019.
Gillie is a qualified teacher offering 1:1 studio tuition besides an e-course and set of master class videos for all levels of enamel painting.
